AR Art Street

The Kita 1-jo Public Underground Walkway, which connects to the Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walkway (Chi-Ka-Ho), was transformed into an augmented-reality (AR) art corridor. Using a VR program known as "TiltBrush," VR artists from all over Japan hand-drew 3D artworks.The data from these pieces were translated into QR codes and displayed at the Kita 1-jo Underground Walkway. When scanned with a smartphone, the 3D artworks would appear.
