Asking your cooperation this snowy winter season

Please be aware of the following advice in order to prevent physical injury resulting from falling ice and snow.

  • Proactively remove snow or ice from your roof.
  • Be sure to constantly inspect windows, signboards, and the walls of buildings, brushing off snow and ice as it builds up.
  • Do not walk beneath the eaves of buildings.
  • Install snow guards on roofs that pose a risk of causing snowfall damage to the surrounding environment.
  • use a safety rope when removing snow from the roof.

Do not dump snow into or draw near rivers.

Dumping snow into rivers impedes their flow and has the potential to lead to flooding. There is additionally a danger that the snow or ice around river banks can break or give way, so please be sure to avoid drawing close to rivers.
